In my free time you’ll usually find me spouting some opinionated guff on LinkedIn about how job ads and the recruitment industry in general are crap and we need to do better.

When I’m not doing that, I’ll usually be writing a bit of code myself or polishing up the Rebel job ads to make sure that they actually do what they’re supposed to do – entice people to apply/give them a real idea of the lifestyle that the job they’re reading about can provide.

I’m absolutely naff when it comes to selling, but if you fancy working with a recruiter who can do what they say they’ll do, won’t string a bunch of cheesy one-liners together, and most importantly understands how to get to the heart of what people really want from their careers, give me a shout!

I also run a local Nottingham-based event called LevelUp! Notts, which aims to make life easier for junior developers, graduates, and even career changers when it comes to securing their first role in tech. I don’t use this event as a platform to pitch Rebel, but if you’re a business that would like to get involved or perhaps even speak to our attendees at one of the monthly meetups, it would be great to hear from you – you don’t have to talk about careers stuff, either!
