Junior Creative / Web Designer

full time

Junior Creative / Web Designer

Salary: £24,000 – 30,000

You’ve always gravitated towards the creative stuff.

It’s your thing. Your superpower.

You don’t just “do a website”. You create experiences. Something that people love coming back to.

It’s more than just a collection of code, fonts, and images on a screen.

Sadly, not every designer role (or company for that matter) will get that. They just don’t get you, and that sucks.

Maybe I’m romanticising. I know that not every designer wakes up and immediately shoots to the office in the hopes of creating somebody’s dream web experience…if the above resonates with you though, you’ll be right at home here.

More importantly, you’ll be surrounded by people that have the same superpower.

People that get you.

You’ll be joining a creative agency that have been around for almost a decade. They’ve built their reputation on the principles that their creatives are the ones that really pull the strings and make the good stuff happen.

You’ll have plenty of freedom to try out your own ideas, flex your creative muscles, and learn a ton of new and exciting stuff along the way.

They’re not looking for perfect, and they’re expecting you to hit a few stumbling blocks along the way. As long as you can show you really care about getting stuff right, for both the customer and the end user, they’ll make sure you’ve got all the support you need to create incredible designs and experiences.

Although it’s a “Junior” position, they’re open to people who have more experience and are searching for their next step up. You won’t be given a Head of Creative title (yet), but they’ll make sure you’ve got a proper career here, and that you’re compensated well.

No long list of requirements for this one – if you’re the right fit for the role, you probably already know it at this point in the advert, but it would be very helpful if you had the following:

  • Experience in modern design tools such as Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
  • If you’re applying as a more experienced Creative, we’d love to see some of your previous work in the form of a portfolio
  • A basic grasp of HTML and CSS would be awesome. You don’t need to be an expert; they’ve got some amazing front end devs that can teach you

The most important thing for them is always going to be finding people that get it…you can’t teach that.

Want to join them? Send over your CV (and a portfolio if you have it).

Let’s talk.
