Package: £30-37k basic + £15-20k bonus

You’re grafting harder than everyone else around you, you’re hitting target, going out on meetings – everything a good BDR should be doing.
You’re finding opportunities that are contributing to a heap load of additional revenue for the business and you “sort of” like your job, but there’s a problem isn’t there? All that extra revenue you’re generating, and you’re only getting a sliver of the pie. Come to think of it…with the amount of time you spend out of the office, couldn’t you just do a way better job working from home?

Maybe this has just hit home, or you’ve been feeling this way for a while. I’m not saying it will be easy, but this could just be the role and business you are looking for…
No micromanagement, no tedious KPI’s but the freedom of working from home and designing your own day. You still need to hit targets - on leads found, developed and converted to be specific – but you’ll have all the trust and freedom to do things your way. It’s worked well for you so far, hasn’t it?

So, what about them.

They’re a European owned company that’ve been growing steadily for the last 20 years, so this isn’t one of those roles where you’ll find yourself hitting a ceiling quickly. You’ll have the reputation and the resources of a business who are very good at what they do, are well-known in their space, and aren’t showing any signs of slowing down.
They’ve managed to use their expertise and savvy business minds to create a Product Experience solution that combines everything a retail business needs in to one (very clever) platform.
As for you, you’ll be hunting down opportunities across the UK, Benelux and Nordics, they already work with over 300 customers across 89 countries – they want you to find them more. You’ll take charge of the initial stage of the sales cycle, using your business development experience to generate leads and opportunities.

You’ll still need to travel (clients aren’t going to visit themselves, right?), but you won’t have the pointless commute to the office getting in the way anymore.
This is sales though, and to really make the most of this you’ll need to be self-disciplined. You won’t have the vibe of the office to lift you up when you’re feeling down, but you won’t have the stress, the distractions or the pressure that comes with it either.

There is no magical list of requirements that define the “perfect candidate”, but the following will help…

• At least 2 years hunter experience, smashing the phones and generating leads/opportunities in IT/SaaS

• Understanding of how data can fuel business decisions and drive rapid ROI

• A knowledge of the Master Data Management (MDM) space is useful, not vital though! All you need is to be intelligent enough to grasp the solutions and driven enough to keep learning more whilst on the job.

This role is paying around the £30-37k mark, with £15-20k additional when meeting your targets!
You’ll make good money along the way, and there’s even a 6 -figure salary later down the line when you’re responsible for every part of the sales cycle and an absolute product expert.
If you want the office buzz or the ‘Wolf of Wall Street’ lifestyle, this is not the one for you, sorry!
