Senior Agile Business Analyst
Headline: Agile Business Analyst, gathering requirements for the delivery of complex software releases. Role will involve regular travel to customer sites across Nottingham / the Midlands
Requirements: 3+ years + BA experience with deep Agile and SDLC knowledge.
Desirable: Software engineering or digital background
Salary/Benefits: £40K - £65K
Here's a job for an exacting, experienced BA who really loves Agile. Not just a little bit of love either. We're talking crazy, mad love (slight exaggeration but you get the point...hopefully).
The company is a tech business unlike anywhere else in Nottingham. they're a medium sized outfit, but work on some of the largest projects in our city. They have a real entrepreneurial spirit and look for people who just can't 'make do' elsewhere. For these guys it's all about the next big project, the next bit of learning they will share and the next customer they will transform with their outside-of-the-box thinking and approach to design and delivery.
They don't take themselves too seriously, and everything they do is in line with what you'd expect with a thoroughly modern, agile and lean outfit...there are no cobwebs here.
It's customer facing, so there will be travel, but not unreasonably so. They expect you to be on site with customers (across the Midlands mainly) about 40% of the time. You'll rarely be alone though, with delivery teams working together very closely.
If you've worked as an internally focused BA for some time and fancy broadening your horizons to work for a tech company where large, new projects, highly engaged customers and being surrounded by people at the top of their field is the norm, then this would be a brilliant place to consider.
They are looking for someone with real Agile BA expertise who can create user stories/epics, functional/non functional specifications and decide what tools the company needs to use to map customer requirements. You will work closely with developers, testers, line managers and external customers to ensure requirements are correctly understood, documented and communicated to enable efficient delivery of the company’s unique solutions. You’ll be working with a huge range of customers from public sector services, to private sector businesses across various industries.
Above all else, they really want someone who is fiercely determined to deliver, isn’t afraid to challenge stakeholders and is great at performing autonomously.
The role is paying around the £50k - £65k mark, with 25 days holiday and some remote working. You'll also have the possibility of a 10% bonus and healthcare.
We have placed a number of people in this role as the company has grown so know what they look for. Drop us a line or hit that apply button to kick-start an informal chat where we can give you a fuller picture of who they are and what you can expect!
