Ideal candidate: Ideally, you’ll be in a Lead role where you’ve been instrumental in moving towards a cloud platform, following agile methods and working under DevOps methodologies. The ability to write clean code in Python to automate processes, having used Terraform, Puppet, Ansible, Jenkins and various other DevOps tools.

As a Lead Cloud Engineer in Nottingham, you will be the technical-mind of a growing team who will be building, developing, operating and helping shape how this company uses Cloud platforms.
This group is the catalyst for mitigating any problems and driving efficiency across various IT functions, creating a platform which allows development teams to anchor AWS/Azure in a supportable framework and working as part of a larger DevOps team to provide operations support for its Cloud Service accounts.
You will be working with Architects to develop and build cloud services capabilities that meet the needs of the Product Development team, enabling them to build Cloud aware applications. To effectively meet business goals, you will be working under an Agile methodology, prior exposure will be highly advantageous.
As part of the leadership aspect of this role, you will be expected to provide metrics on the stability, reliability and overall performance of the company’s infrastructure.
