In this role you’ll get to interact with some of the most experienced individuals in the digital industry, working for virtually the biggest player in this sector, with a Silicon-Valley-esqu culture. You’ll work with people who have previously worked in senior positions for some of the largest companies in the world.
Some key experience:
You’ll need experience working in a very fast paced environment, keeping all stakeholders and the business aware of industry / legal/ internal / policy updates and their implications. You’ll work across a number of brands to optimise and increase reach into new markets, to reach customers, ultimately working to increase market share. With huge expansion planned you’ll need to truly understand the customers’ you’re trying to reach, so knowledge or experience with UX and understanding the customer journey will go down well.
And of course, experience with analysing and reporting on the results of your work will be vital to making continual improvements across multiple departments. This person needs to be prepared to work in a thoroughly results driven environment. That will be the main target your performance is measured against, so if you don’t have the answers initially, knowing where and how to find them are fundamental skills, as well as being highly-organised.
Being a digital company, it’s beneficial if you have some techie tendencies, but out-and-out SEO experience is the main thing that will stand out.
