PHP (E-commerce) Developer
Headline: A strong PHP Developer creating code to power new product features in a considerably growing business.
Salary: Up to £36k depending on experience, employer pension scheme, quarterly bonus and free parking etc.
Ideal candidate: An agile worker with a strong acumen for PHP, MySQL and basic web development. Having experience updating existing legacy code will be highly advantageous as you will be doing this along with creating clean code.
Overview of the role!
I am on the search for a PHP Developer well versed with PHP and MySQL to join a thriving business that is based in Leicester. They are growing considerably and have the very achievable plans to shake up the market they operate in! They are effectively overhauling all the IT systems and rebuilding all their systems from scratch. It’s a great place to work and is filled with people who are very much switched-on! I’ve been tasked to recruit exclusively for these roles as we’re helping them build a brand-new E-commerce development team, this will increase the development team to around 20 developers.
Therefore, I am after candidates with strong PHP programming skills and experience with MySQL. I am after passionate PHP Developers who love creating clean code to power new product features and improve existing legacy code. You will have a proven track record of producing PHP E-commerce applications, so you will know about payment gateways, SSL, electronic data interchange (EDI), PunchOut and transactional environments. Candidates should also have a good understanding of agile development and continuous Integration/continuous delivery. We also love candidates with fresh ideas to bring to the table!
