Headline: Awesome tech recruitment team looks for bright, ambitious and driven graduates to join us as Rebel Recruiters!
Salary: £23k - £27k first year earnings for graduates (basic salary of £18k)
Location: Nottingham City Centre
Ideal candidate: Someone with a good academic background, a hard-working nature, excellent spoken and written English and a desire to build relationships and earn a very good salary!
I founded Rebel in 2015 as a tech recruitment company determined to do things differently. I aimed to cram it full of intelligent and passionate recruiters who are ambitious and driven, but also humble and honest. I wanted it to be somewhere committed to providing a more human, responsive and dependable service to our candidates and employers, and somewhere where people would be genuinely proud and happy to work.
We’re a growing team of experienced recruiters, graduates and apprentices who have come together to form something that we think is very special (thankfully our growing customer base seems to agree!). We’ve gone from strength to strength in the last 4 years and are now looking to hire additional Rebels as we have just moved into a new office in Nottingham City Centre.
We’re hard working, committed relationship-builders who do things the right way (rather than the easy way) to ensure our service always stands out from the crowd...and we’ve forged an excellent reputation for what we do (take a look at our website for our recommendations!).
You’ll join as a trainee recruiter / resourcer, learning the ropes from old (ish) hands and supporting the current team with existing workloads. Your role will be to help us fill more of our customers’ vacancies whilst also developing your own employer networks so one day you can spread your wings and become a fully-fledged Rebel Recruiter.
We’re looking for exceptionally talented people to join us. A recruitment role with us is likely to be fun, challenging, lucrative and rewarding, but only if you have the right blend of dedication, drive, stick-ability and positivity. There will be highs, as well as lows, but if you want a rewarding and people-focused role and don't mind working hard then it could be for you.
We're ideally looking for graduates or apprentices with an excellent academic track record, so some A’s or B’s at A-level/GCSEs coupled with a 2:2 or above degree from University (for a graduate role) would be preferred - we deal with extremely clever people every day and need to keep up! Subjects aren’t so important as my current team members have studied anything from Languages through to Sciences previously. However, graduates in Computer Science will enjoy a head start in our industry.
You will also need excellent spoken and written English and grammar – we are sticklers for detail :)
Evidence of work experience gained during your studies would be great, as we do like busy-bodies who can balance different priorities. Importantly, we're after people with an interesting story to tell, for whom failure is not an option and who are proactive / entrepreneurial in nature.
We’re a growing start-up, so you won’t get a corporate environment with shiny graduate schemes or lots of suits walking around comparing commission cheques. What you’ll get is the chance to work in a supportive and innovative company with other likeable, grounded recruiters who love what they do. You’ll also learn from someone who has been in your shoes and knows what it takes to be successful in this job (that’ll be me by the way).
If you’re interested, do get in touch. I’ll need you to write at least a paragraph or two explaining why you’d be a good match for our business, so do take a look at our website to get a feel for who we are. Every applicant who does this will get a personal reply from me.
If you’ve just started looking into recruitment and don’t know much about it then that’s fine. Most people 'fall into’ recruitment after graduating, so it doesn’t concern me if you didn’t dream of being a recruiter as a kid...but you do need to know the basics of what the role involves and why you might want to do it. You'll also need to be based in Nottingham.
We’ll offer graduate trainees a basic salary of £17k (which will increase to £18k once you pass your 3 month probation) and generous commission / bonuses that will increase as you develop. As a trainee recruitment consultant you can expect to earn anything between £18k - £22k in your first year with £25k - £30k+ a realistic possibility by your second year with us, or perhaps even more with our uncapped bonuses.
If this sounds like your kind of place then go ahead, hit that apply button!
