Software Engineer – WPF/ WinForms

Role: C# Software Engineer (WPF/ WinForms)

Location: Worcestershire

Working Model:   Hybrid Working – Once a month in the Office

Salary: Up to £60k plus benefits

Do you love cars?  How about the planet?  Fancy playing a part in reducing vehicle emissions and making driving as safe as possible?

If you’re nodding vigorously, then you’re in luck because I’m working with a company that does just that!

They have tasked me with finding someone to join their Desktop Team, so you’ll be using C# as your primary language, WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) 70% of the time and WinForms (Windows Forms) 30% of the time.

You’ll need a great academic background in Maths/ Physics/ Computer Science/ Mechanical Engineering as the work you’ll be doing needs to be exceptionally accurate as it’ll be used for safety standard setting in the industry. If you’ve got experience of working in the automotive industry, that would be super useful!

The work you’ll be undertaking in this post will be vital for not only your employer, but the industry at large, so if you’ve felt like a tiny cog in a giant machine (pun fully intended!) and like your work doesn’t really matter, then this role will be like a breath of fresh air!

You’ll also get one day per month as ‘self-directed time’ to do with as you please! You can learn a new language, take a technical exam, or anything you like!

Over the next couple of years, the company is looking to link up the Desktop Team with another team that uses a variety of tech, including Docker and Kubernetes, so there’s a chance to learn new tech further down the line in this role.

The work arrangement is simple – you work from home as much as you want to: the minimum requirement for any travel is twice per year for team building events, average amongst current staff is once a month in the office.

We welcome diverse applicants and are dedicated to treating all applicants with dignity and respect, regardless of background.

Senior Software Engineer – GOLANG

Role: Senior Software Engineer (Backend – Golang / PHP)

Location: London

Working Arrangement: Hybrid – Once every two months in London HQ (expenses covered, we’ve got you!)
Salary: Up to £80k + 5% uplift for out-of-hours support (1/6 weeks) + bonus & benefits

Why I’m Excited About This Role

I’m working closely with my client, and they’re growing fast—so fast that this brand-new role has opened up. They’re in the middle of a big transition from monolithic architecture to microservices, and they need a backend engineer who can help make it happen. Right now, the tech split is 70% PHP / 30% Golang, but over the next two years, they’ll flip that to 70% Golang / 30% PHP. From day one, you’ll be working on a Golang project, while still supporting the existing PHP codebase. If you’ve got experience in PHP 7.0 with Slim 2.0, that’s a huge plus!

You’ll be joining a tight-knit team of a dozen engineers (frontend & backend) who are all about collaboration, clean code, and making an impact.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Working on brand-new Golang projects while keeping things running in PHP.
  • Helping transition from a monolithic system to microservices.
  • Building & shipping scalable, enterprise-level solutions.
  • Writing clean, maintainable, and testable code.
  • Collaborating with a highly skilled engineering team to create new features.
  • Mentoring junior developers and being a key player in the backend team.
  • Taking ownership—if you build it, you own it.
  • Joining the on-call rota (after probation) to help keep things smooth.

What You Need to Bring

  • Strong Golang & PHP experience—you should be comfortable with both (or willing to upskill fast).
  • Experience moving from monolithic architecture to microservices.
  • Knowledge of PHP 7.0 & Slim 2.0 framework.
  • AWS expertise (S3, SQS, Lambda, MySQL, API Gateway, EventBridge, etc.).
  • Debugging skills—you love solving complex, business-critical issues.
  • CI/CD experience & a passion for automation.
  • Caching solutions & performance optimization know-how.

The Perks

  • Retirement Savings Plan, annual bonus (because you deserve it), generous employee discounts, enhanced parental leave & gifts for new parents, flexible benefits—gym discounts, life insurance, activity passes & more.
  • 24/7 mental health support (because burnout isn’t a badge of honor).

This isn’t just another backend role—this is a chance to shape the future of a growing company while working on cutting-edge tech.

If this sounds like your next move, let’s chat. DM me or apply now!

We welcome diverse applicants and are dedicated to treating all applicants with dignity and respect, regardless of background.

Junior Software Engineer

Role:  Junior Software Engineer (C# / .NET / Vue.JS)

Location:  Derby

Working Model: Hybrid (once a week in the office)

Salary:  £40k

Okay, let’s cut to the chase. I’m on the lookout for a Full Stack Developer who’s ready to take on big, meaningful challenges and actually make an impact. My client is a serious player in the pharmaceutical and healthcare game, with offices across the UK, Europe, and the US, including their UK HQ in South Derbyshire (the tech team usually meet once a week in the office). Their mission? To deliver high-quality software that is making a real change in the word, and you can be part of it!

Who are you?

I’m looking for someone who’s got some solid commercial experience under their belt and can hit the ground running. We’re not after perfection, but we need someone who’s confident in their abilities as a Full-Stack Developer.

It goes without saying that you’re analytical, driven, and always ready to go above and beyond. You’ll work with some of the biggest pharma companies in the world, plus be part of internal projects that help shape the company’s future. So, if you’re not afraid to own your role and make an impact, let’s talk.

What’s the role really about?

You’ll need experience with C# .NET Core and Vue.js. You’ll be part of a project team focused on delivering client-driven solutions while continuing to evolve and enhance existing products. And trust me, you’ll get to work on products that are literally shaping the healthcare industry. One of their platforms recently won an Award for Excellence, and it’s helping healthcare providers connect with patients in ways that actually improve health outcomes. This is just one of the game-changing projects you’ll get to work on.

They use Vue.js and JavaScript to build the application interfaces—so if you’re comfortable with that, you’ll hit the ground running. If your experience is in similar frameworks or languages, still get in touch. I’m open to chatting if you’ve got the skills and the hunger to learn.

Skills Needed:

You’ll need solid experience with C# and ASP.NET Core, as well as a strong grasp of Vue.js for building user interfaces. Familiarity with SQL is a must, and if you’ve worked with Azure, even better. You’ll be tackling both front-end and back-end tasks, so Full-Stack Development is a key part of the role. Of course, you’ll need to be a strong communicator—working with both internal teams and clients means you’ve got to know how to convey ideas clearly. Analytical skills? You’ve got ‘em. And experience in Web Development with JavaScript will definitely help you hit the ground running.

If you’re looking for a job where you can actually contribute to something meaningful, and you’re ready to join a company that’s pushing the envelope in healthcare tech, then get in touch. Let’s talk. Hit me up or apply now.

Oh, and just so you know—we recruit with zero tolerance for bias. No matter your age, gender, background, or any other label, if you’ve got the skills, we want to hear from you.

Role:  .NET Developer (C#, ASP.NET & MVC)

Location:  Derby

Working Model:  Hybrid

Salary: Up to £46k

I’m teaming up with a powerhouse software house that’s doing some seriously cool things in the health and pharmaceutical space. They’ve got offices all over the UK, Europe, and the States, but they’re all about results—no matter where you’re based.

You won’t just be writing code for the sake of it. You’ll be part of a team that’s building game-changing applications to find and educate patients who need treatment. You’ll help create nursing services that empower people to live their best lives, and you’ll have a direct impact on guiding healthcare pros to prescribe the right meds, every time.

Who Am I Looking For?

I’m looking for someone who’s got their head in the game. You’ve worked with internal and external stakeholders without breaking a sweat. You don’t hide from deadlines—you chase them down. The dev team is tight-knit, so while you need to be a team player, you also need to be able to fly solo when necessary.

This isn’t a beginner role. I need someone with solid commercial experience who can hit the ground running. But don’t freak out if you’re not a finished product—we’re after confidence in your abilities and a solid background in Full Stack Development.

Let’s be clear: I want someone who’s analytical, driven, and willing to push the boundaries. You’ll be working with some of the biggest external clients in the game, and you’ll have a chance to shape internal projects that will steer the company’s future.

Hybrid Working – Why Not?

Hybrid is the name of the game here. The team typically gets together in the office just one day a week—so if you live far away, no worries. As long as you’re happy to communicate and stay connected (and make it to the office once a month), this could be perfect for you. The offices are based in South Derbyshire.

What’s the Job Really Like?

You’ll be working with C#, the .NET Framework, and SQL Server. Your focus will be on client-driven projects, as well as enhancing and expanding current products. You’ll be developing tools that are literally shaping the healthcare landscape. This is about real impact—helping people quit smoking, manage their weight, and access the right healthcare.

We use ASP.NET Web Forms and MVC to build our app interfaces. If you know your way around those, you’re golden. But hey, if you’ve worked with similar frameworks or languages, I’m open to chatting. Experience can come in many forms.

What Skills do you need?

You’ll need experience with C#, the .NET Framework, WebForms/MVC, and SQL. Full-Stack Development is a must, along with strong communication and analytical skills. You should also have a solid background in Web Development, particularly with JavaScript.

This is a prime opportunity to join a company that’s shaking up the healthcare industry with tech. If you’re feeling this vibe, hit me up or apply now. Let’s see if we’re a match.
