Salary: Up to 50k

Does working for a sustainable company float your boat? Being able to know that you are working for a company that is making a difference and cares, also feeds through the way that they treat their staff. Sound interesting? Carry on reading….

An interest in IT is a great start with this role, whilst it’s not a hands-on role with regards to networking etc, an idea of IT support will be a bonus as this role is IT-centric.

You will take full responsibility for a junior member of staff who gets involved with the basics such as installing software, setting up new accounts and troubleshooting. The rest is all outsourced, and this is where a big part of your role will come in. You will be involved with liaising with third parties with regard to the work that is done., and they will support you with regard to the IT infrastructure and security.

You will have an interest in Cyber security as you will oversee the company’s risk register and take active responsibility for reducing cyber risks for the shared platforms servers etc. As well as this you will be responsible for the disaster recovery plans and administration of cyber security.

You will also be the lead on the implementation of any new software/ systems that are required through the business. Producing policies and taking responsibility for the global offices’ IT expenditure and preparation of annual budgets also fall with you.

As I mentioned, they like to look after their staff and offer 27.5 days holiday plus bank holidays as well as contributing 12% pension.

If this sounds like of interest please get in touch.

2nd Line Support Analyst

Role:  2nd Line Support (SQL based)

Location: 3 days a week in Nottingham HQ

Salary:  Up to £32k per annum

YOU NEED TO HAVE BEEN IN THE UK FOR THE LAST 3 YEARS TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE REQUIRED SECURITY CLEARANCE

Listen up my beautiful junior data people! It’s a proper bummer trying to find solid data roles in the current job market, no? Companies want you to be able to use SQL, Python, Oracle, blah blah whilst juggling with one hand and typing with the other. No more  nonsense.

Sector – SaaS for the public sector/ various agencies (mYstEriOus)

Angle – Listen, they just need someone who’s used SQL for maybe 2ish years. If you can do joins, reading the data scripts and tweaking scripts where relevant, fantastic, sorted!

Benefits – The main one is the bonus which is based on individuals and company performance.

You’ll be working in a team of 4 solving support tickets as they come in so someone who has supported software applications is ideal.

The support manager has automated all the macros work so your days of copying and pasting macros are well and truly over.

He has said that he likes the team to have fun, get the work done and come up with ways to make support more efficient for clients.  You’ll have fun working here, with opportunities to progress and learn to boot – what’s not to love?

If this sounds of interest, hit apply and I look forward to speaking! 😊

Automation Specialist

Role:  Automation Specialist
Location:  Fully remote (1/ fortnight in the office for team meetings)
Salary:  Up to £55k depending on the level of experience

If you’re fed up with getting passed rubbish projects, not having the support you need to do your job to the best of your ability, and having no real career progression or training, then you should apply for this role.

I know it’s a blunt opener, but I can’t think of a witty way to say; ‘you’re being underappreciated and that should stop because you’re great. Here’s how.’

I’m recruiting for a company in Leicester, and they need an Automation Developer.

They’ll be good to you.

They have some great projects to get stuck into- both internal and external- because a few years ago some really great, forward-thinking people in their tiny ‘IT dept’ decided to champion tech to the board of Directors, and they got the go-ahead to put tech at the heart of the company, and it’s working; they are doing better than ever before.

They have done -and are continuing to make the lives of their non-IT colleagues better by improving the systems/ apps they use better. They are delivering new external applications to ameliorate the experience of their users.

Automation is a key area that they are looking to grow and they have currently released over 20 projects that they are looking to start the automation process with. They are looking to double the team in size and have developers currently working with power automation, automation anywhere, and Kofax.

Ideally, you will have experience with Kofax or Power automate and will be looking to join a team where you are able to make a difference and have an impact on the automation of the projects that they are looking to work on.

They have a number of technical teams, filled with people that love what they do, and are blinking great at it.

They are genuinely committed to being one of the best companies to work for in terms of their people, tech, projects, and beautiful office (with free parking and lots of treats in the kitchen).

Welcome to the next step in your career. ✊
