Does tech float your boat? Are you interested in how things work? Do you like meddling with PCs? Looking for your first step into IT? If so, please read on…
If you are looking for a company which will fully support you in your first role and will actively encourage you to move up the ranks, then this is the role for you. In an ideal world, you will have had exposure to working in a first-line role. However, it’s not a biggie, if you have worked in a customer service role and have an interest in IT or want to learn, then that is perfectly fine.
You will be happy working in a fast-paced environment and communication skills are a must. Picking up the phone and building relationships is a main part of the role. If the idea of talking to someone on the phone repulses you, then this isn’t the role for you.
You will be able to work on your own or within a team and will need to be able to learn how to prioritise.
During the probation period, you will be working core hours, after this, there is a rota with regard to the shift patterns that you work.
If this sounds like a role that you would be interested in, please get in touch.
Role: Senior SAP Functional Consultants x2 (Supply chain focus)
Salary: Up to £70k per annum
Location: Hybrid 2/3 day a week in Nottingham
Sector – Retail/Supply chain
Benefits – Healthcare, lifestyle benefits package, wellbeing initiatives and a pretty cool office they recently moved into (if I’m allowed to include that) to name but a few.
Looking at the current economic situation in the UK, it’s best to focus our attention on the companies that are setting the pace, continuing to expand and leaving the competitors in the dust. Why? Because it is 100 times better to scale your career in a recession-proof company that will continue to flourish against all odds than look over your shoulder to protect a below-market average salary every time the board decided to “streamline”.
I’m looking for two highly talented SAP consultants for an expanding industry name in the retail sector. Anyone with SAP experience specialized in procurement, inventory, logistics or distribution is fair game. These roles are perfect for subject matter experts in the SAP space that are sick of red tape and being underpaid and want to drive change, improvement and deliver end-to-end solutions in the supply chain department.
You will be an integral part of the business, bridging the communications gap between the IT teams and business managers leading the way on business process improvements. Gathering requirements and designing new solutions will be your bread and butter.
You’ll require a background in SAP ECC, with particular relevant experience in supply chain modules such as MM, WM, IM, SD and/or LE.
If you’re looking at the above and nodding your head, hit apply and let’s speak soon!
Are you well-versed in IT Delivery? Are you able to manage a team and stakeholders without handholding? If so, read on as this may be the role for you!
Do you enjoy managing and mentoring staff, as well as having the capability to grow a team as the business requires? Yes, great, as you will be managing a small team of 2 and can lead from the front and pitch in to help staff resolve calls as required.
Communication skills are a must as in all honesty the length of time taken to resolve tickets due to growth is an issue. So, relationship building and providing realistic SLAs to the wider business is a must. This isn’t a slow-paced organisation, and you will thrive in a fast-paced environment and have experience working with numerous projects as required.
Experience with ensuring a company is ITIL compliant is a huge advantage, as they are looking to ensure that business is more compliant, and you will be at the forefront of ensuring that this happens. You will be able to develop and review KPIs in alignment with ITIL processes.
MS Office 365 will be your go too and if your head is in the Azure cloud then this is a bigger bonus.
However, if you have experience with other cloud providers, this isn’t a deal breaker. Intune, SharePoint and OneDrive will be your go-to tools. You won’t look at a ticket as a short-term fix, you will be looking at the bigger problem to see if this issue has a long-term fix.
If this sounds like the role for you, please get in touch. ✊
Location: Nottingham – Hybrid – 1 day a week in the office
Are you ready for a new challenge? Do you dream of finding bugs in software or breaking a software application that was supposed to be flawless? If so, keep reading because I’ve got a cracking role on, just for you!
I’m currently hiring for a Software Tester with a software solutions company based in Nottingham (once a week in the office, 4 days WFH).

Location: Office based 3-4 days a week, near Warwickshire/Leamington Spa
Salary: £25k – £29k + 10% bonus, 25 days holiday, generous pension, and more
Working hours: 37.5 hours, Mon-Fri 8 am-4.30 pm.
Since a young age, you’ve always found yourself drawn to technology. Whether it was building your PC, overengineering your home network (because you can) or even solving other people’s IT problems, often for free.
All because you love technology.
But, unlike some of your peers you know that, deep down, you are a people person at heart.
You’re probably working for an MSP on a mind-numbing service desk or in a break/fix role, doing stuff you think is child’s play.
Or if not an MSP, then maybe another structured service desk environment, but you love the idea of going somewhere with real career progression, and a chance to actually work *inside* a company, one that is part of one of the UK’s fastest-growing groups.
You’ll enjoy working here because:
The internal culture is legendary – they all look out for each other.
Your manager will push you to grow and develop your knowledge and career.
They are undertaking major IT work, which means for a bright thing such as yourself there will be plenty of opportunities to learn and gain exposure.
Everyone will love you – they are crying out for a superstar tech support to come along and make everyone’s life easier – this is absolutely not a role where you are just another number.
The benefits are excellent, including a 10% bonus.
This company employ about 400 people and has a small in-house team of IT specialists. You will work with the IT manager to support the company’s IT needs remotely and in person.
It’s a 1st/2nd line role, so whilst you won’t be expected to deal with high-level issues (they have an outsourced partner to assist with trickier issues), you will be working very independently.
If you prefer to work in a team of IT professionals all sitting together in the same office this role won’t be for you.
You’ll be office-based four days a week in Warwickshire, but your manager will probably only be in once a week – the rest of the week you will be working under your own steam and doing on-site work with users.
You will be responsible for supporting and setting up all laptops, PCs and peripheral devices. You’ll be supporting Azure/Active Directory, undertaking network support (WAN/LAN/Switches/Routers etc.) and doing some basic server support on-premises and in the cloud (Azure). You’ll ideally have 2 years of experience in a commercial IT support role, with a strong, broad Microsoft background.
You will need to be able to drive to commute to their office 3-4 days a week.
On offer is a basic salary between £25k – £29k + 10% bonus, 25 days holiday, generous pension, discounted gym membership, health/life insurance and more.
The client that I’m working is not your average tech company. They are a crew of digital pioneers. People who are true experts in their field – ‘average’ doesn’t happen on their watch.
As a Network Support Engineer, you’ll be one of their heroes behind the scenes, ensuring their network thrives and thrives. Here’s what you’ll be diving into:
Network Ninja: Your networking expertise is second to none, with hands-on experience in a variety of real-world networks, especially with Cisco routers and switches.
Internet Maestro: You’re not just a network pro; you’re a wizard in internet infrastructure tech. DNS, DHCP, IPAM (bonus points if you know DDI appliances) and web caching (especially with Squid) are your domain. Or, if you’re an HTTP aficionado, we want to hear from you!
Linux Lover: They’re big fans of Linux and would prefer you are too! Fluency with Linux is a big plus.
Command-Line Magician: Command-line tools are your trusty sidekicks, helping you tackle daily tasks, manage files and machines, and troubleshoot with ease.
What’s in It for You:
A competitive salary of up to £50,000.
A vibrant and innovative work environment where your tech brilliance will be allowed to shine.
To apply, send your CV (and a brief cover note ideally) to Yas @ Rebel Recruiters for a guaranteed personal response.
Salary: £35k to £44k per annum dependent on experience
Location: Once a month in Leicester (or more if you don’t like working from home)
Sector – Luxury automotive (vroom vroom)
Benefits – Remote working, additional holiday, industry-leading maternity, paternity and adoption pay, enhanced long service awards, discounted car schemes, high street discounts etc.
Hello and welcome to ServiceNow fangirls! I’m working with a company currently looking for a ServiceNow administrator or specialist that has been working hands-on in a professional role for at least a year utilizing Service Now. If you are looking to up your game and finally get the recognition you deserve in this space, read on…
So, what can you expect in this role day to day?
A day in the life would be sorting through queries/tickets coming in from the service desk and knowing how to process, resolve and escalate each issue dependent on priority. Ideally, they are looking for someone who can read and write basic JavaScript and you’ll get a chocolate chip cookie if you can also use PowerShell but no worries if not. There have been a lot of integration projects recently so any exposure to Active Directory would be very helpful in this position.
What can you expect in the long term?
The reason I said earlier that they are looking for ServiceNow fans is because this role would be great for someone who longer term sees themselves becoming a ServiceNow developer. Exciting!
Type of role: 6-month contract with potential to extend (5 days a week/Inside IR35)
Location: 5 days a week in Nottingham (can drop down to 1 once you’ve built trust)
Salary: £100 to £125 a day
Sector – Public sector
Must haves – IT literacy (comfortable with Microsoft products), Active Directory experience, ability and willingness to drive, good with solving basic hardware/network diagnostics.
Important! – For this role, the successful candidate will be put through NPPV3 level security vetting (level below military level) which is quite invasive so this role wouldn’t be right for someone with a criminal record or someone who may be seen as a security risk.
Are you a contractor or a permie looking for your next opportunity in IT support?
Do you want to work somewhere where there is a longstanding team, stability and a close-knit culture, instead of feeling like you’re working in a call centre with different colleagues coming and going every day like you get with a lot of tech support roles?
Maybe you are good at tinkering around with PCs in your spare time and are currently working in an entry-level IT role where you use Active Directory Day to day to set up user permissions and you are used to fixing a dodgy router from time to time and solving problems over the phone for end users.
They aren’t just looking for someone to answer a phone, they will also be sending you on missions to other offices to do hands-on, deskside support in and around Nottingham (you must be able to drive).
Perhaps you are at a point in your early career where you are thinking “I know I don’t have much experience, but there MUST be something better out there!”
Role: Software Implementation and Training Officer
Type of role: 6-month contract (5 days a week/Inside IR35)
Location: 5 days a week in Nottingham, with some local travel
Salary: £100 to £125 a day
Sector – Public
Must haves – Experience in a role where you have been involved in software training and technical support. Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office 365 Suite will be expected.
Important! – For this role, the successful candidate will be put through NPPV3 level security vetting (the level below military level) which is quite invasive so this role wouldn’t be right for someone with a criminal record.
You’re used to working in a role where you provide desk-side and classroom-based software training to non-technical users. You’re great at getting people comfortable using new software, doing demos and answering any tricky questions they may have.
The point is, whether it’s classroom-based training, workshops, one-to-one tuition and/or e-learning, you’ve got a good track record, whether that’s as a trainer or working within technical support.
We’re after someone who is proactive and takes pride in their work – and, needless to say, you must be great with people!
This organization are a brilliant place to work, with a real close-knit culture – they’re not corporate, and you won’t be working all hours of the day, but you do need to be in their central Nottingham office 5 days a week with some local travel, so a driving license is essential.
YOU NEED TO HAVE BEEN IN THE UK FOR THE LAST 3 YEARS
Listen up my wonderful junior support people! It’s a proper bummer trying to find solid support roles in the current job market, no? Role: Automation Specialist Location: Fully remote (1/ fortnight in the office for team meetings) Salary: Up to £55k depending on the level of experience
If you’re fed up with getting passed rubbish projects, not having the support you need to do your job to the best of your ability, and having no real career progression or training, then you should apply for this role.
I know it’s a blunt opener, but I can’t think of a witty way to say; ‘you’re being underappreciated and that should stop because you’re great. Here’s how.’
I’m recruiting for a company in Leicester, and they need an Automation Developer.
They’ll be good to you.
They have some great projects to get stuck into- both internal and external- because a few years ago some really great, forward-thinking people in their tiny ‘IT dept’ decided to champion tech to the board of Directors, and they got the go-ahead to put tech at the heart of the company, and it’s working; they are doing better than ever before.
They have done -and are continuing to make the lives of their non-IT colleagues better by improving the systems/ apps they use better. They are delivering new external applications to ameliorate the experience of their users.
Automation is a key area that they are looking to grow and they have currently released over 20 projects that they are looking to start the automation process with. They are looking to double the team in size and have developers currently working with power automation, automation anywhere, and Kofax.
Ideally, you will have experience with Kofax or Power automate and will be looking to join a team where you are able to make a difference and have an impact on the automation of the projects that they are looking to work on.
They have a number of technical teams, filled with people that love what they do, and are blinking great at it.
They are genuinely committed to being one of the best companies to work for in terms of their people, tech, projects, and beautiful office (with free parking and lots of treats in the kitchen).
If you would like to learn more about this role, give me a shout at the contact details provided, or if you’re fully bought in, apply now!
