Role:  IT Support Analyst 

Location:  Office based 3-4 days a week, near Warwickshire/Leamington Spa 

Salary:  £25k – £29k + 10% bonus, 25 days holiday, generous pension, and more

Working hours: 37.5 hours, Mon-Fri 8 am-4.30 pm.

Since a young age, you’ve always found yourself drawn to technology.  Whether it was building your PC, overengineering your home network (because you can) or even solving other people’s IT problems, often for free.

All because you love technology.

But, unlike some of your peers you know that, deep down, you are a people person at heart.

You’re probably working for an MSP on a mind-numbing service desk or in a break/fix role, doing stuff you think is child’s play.

Or if not an MSP, then maybe another structured service desk environment, but you love the idea of going somewhere with real career progression, and a chance to actually work *inside* a company, one that is part of one of the UK’s fastest-growing groups.

  • This company employ about 400 people and has a small in-house team of IT specialists.  You will work with the IT manager to support the company’s IT needs remotely and in person.

It’s a 1st/2nd line role, so whilst you won’t be expected to deal with high-level issues (they have an outsourced partner to assist with trickier issues), you will be working very independently.

If you prefer to work in a team of IT professionals all sitting together in the same office this role won’t be for you.

You’ll be office-based four days a week in Warwickshire, but your manager will probably only be in once a week – the rest of the week you will be working under your own steam and doing on-site work with users.

You will be responsible for supporting and setting up all laptops, PCs and peripheral devices.  You’ll be supporting Azure/Active Directory, undertaking network support (WAN/LAN/Switches/Routers etc.) and doing some basic server support on-premises and in the cloud (Azure).  You’ll ideally have 2 years of experience in a commercial IT support role, with a strong, broad Microsoft background.

You will need to be able to drive to commute to their office 3-4 days a week.
