Role: Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Data preservation, and data archiving – sound boring…to mere mortals. BUT, you know data is BIG BUSINESS and as a sales rep you want to work in an industry where there is a constant demand and the market potential is huge…right?
This company are a specialist data preservation company with an international customer base. They have grown quickly, and the directors are keen to keep pushing the boundaries.
They have recently had some more investment and are putting hiring for additional sales development representatives (SDRs) right at the forefront of their growth strategy.
You will be responsible for building a pipeline through outbound prospecting; however, you will also receive leads to follow up directly from the marketing team so you will not be hunting alone.
This is no ordinary sales role, you’ll be working directly with the CEO who is a sales expert, so you will be being mentored by the best! How many salespeople, get to work directly with the CEO?!

The company are open-minded, although they would like someone with some sales experience. Personality and drive are absolutely everything to them! You must have excellent communication skills, as you will be required to build relationships with key stakeholders within the business. You must be confident, this is sales – you’ll be put on the spot sometimes and you must be able to handle objections!
As well as a basic salary of up to £25k, you will be offered an excellent commission structure, which you can start earning from the get-go, realistically, in your first year, you should be able to earn an extra £11k! You are also offered 25 days holiday, health cover, life insurance, hybrid working (3 days in the Reading office!), and lots of team building/activity days!
