Role: Technical Author

You will join a well-known global name, working in a long-established department within the business.
However, you will be the first technical author to join this division.
You don’t have to be super-creative in this role, it’s more about having an eye for detail and preciseness, given that you’ll be working mainly on technical documents. However, you will need a passion for writing and consistency, ensuring that documents are clear and well-presented.
You will be producing documentation for internal and external use which relates to their products and their implementations. Any exposure to working on either physical engineering and/or software Products would be very useful.
Having a technical mind would help in this role as on a day-to-day basis you will be researching, preparing, reviewing and managing product documentation and user manuals, whilst ensuring that all documentation is in line with ISO and corporate standards.
If you have produced documentation across a range of media, then this is a bonus. The tools you will be using will include Microsoft word, Excel, Visio and Adobe Suite.
