Reporting to the Head of Data you will help them grow and develop the data function. This includes people, processes and technology. However, you must first and foremost be a hands-on data engineer as writing code is still a key part of the role!
Whilst you will have experience with SQL they are having a huge push to move to a data bricks platform, so any experience with Azure data bricks is a huge plus. Exposure to Google Cloud will be a bonus as they are creating a new platform on GCP, however, there is still much Azure work to be done!
You will need Python experience and will also get the chance to work with Pyspark.
