Salary:  £38K – £45k + 10% bonus + generous pension + medical insurance

This company are one of the UK’s fastest growing large organisations, and they are undergoing a major IT transformation so it’s a great time to join them.

This is a brand-new role created because of growth.  You’ll be a hands-on 3rd line engineer and team leader to a small team of 2 engineers supporting one of the company’s key sites and approximately 400 employees.

You’ll want to join this company for several reasons:

  • They are well known for progressing talented and ambitious people within their ranks (I should know, I’ve worked with them for over 10 years!)
  • They treat people really well, through the good and bad times.
  • They are growing rapidly, and there may be opportunities in the next 12-18 months to expand your remit and develop your role further to cover other sites and team members.
  • The benefits are excellent.
  • Your manager is a good human being (verified!)
  • You will be working with newer technology and methods, not stuck with crusty legacy tech!

The role will involve taking BAU responsibility for all infrastructure and business applications, so you will need to be an all-rounder with a strong background in the 2nd/3rd line support of Microsoft / AD / 365 / Azure environments.

The role will also involve support for:

  • IT Security (ISO 270001, patch management etc.)
  • Networking
  • Service Delivery (SLAs)
  • Linux
  • MS Dynamics support
  • SQL Server

You don’t need experience with all of the above, but the more you have the better!

Importantly, you will be comfortable in a team leader role, acting as a coach, mentor and escalation point, as well as getting involved in hiring and resource decisions working with your manager to proactively ensure the team has everything, they need to deliver an amazing service to the business.

You will need to drive and live within the Warwickshire/Gloucestershire area.  You will have flexibility to work from home 1-2 days a week once you are up to speed.

This role is exclusive to Rebel, so please apply for a guaranteed reply or call us (google us for the number and ask for Jules!).

We welcome diverse applicants and are dedicated to treating all applicants with dignity and respect, regardless of background.
