Role: Senior Software Engineer – Data Focus
Location: Office in Nottingham City Centre, once per week/ fortnight in the office.
Salary: Up to £65k plus benefits
You’re a superb Back End Software Engineer with a specialism in Microsoft technologies and a particular love for data; specifically adept with ETL and APIs. Azure experience would stand you in very good stead for this role, too.
I’m working with a global tech company, with a base in Nottingham City Centre. They need you to join them to expand their capability to serve their customers excellently.
Working in an Agile environment, using modern tech, you’ll be getting your hands dirty with tech like; C#, .Net core 7/8, REST APIs, Azure, Entity Relationship (ER) Databases like LucidChart, etc. It would be great if you have experience of working with DevOps tools such as Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, GraphQL, Kong API Gateway, IaC, etc.
You’ll be the kind of person who loves to do things the right way; adhering to best practice, development standards and principles, such as SOLID.
Having a team around you to learn from, mentor, and contribute to, you’ll have a whale of a time! They are all very good at what they do and super friendly, too. There are established progression routes for either IC (Individual contributor) up into architecture, or management.
