You’re searching for something to give you more responsibility and ownership, something to help you deal with those distractions in life like eating and sleeping. If that’s the case, this place might be for you.
As the only Project Manager in the business, you will have the opportunity to make your mark. Wow, it sounds simple when I put it like that, but that doesn’t mean your impact will be. Not to sound like a WWF advert but your contribution will help save the planet. They work on environmentally focused tech that helps to increase energy savings and efficiency.
Working with the Software Development team, the Software Project Manager will plan, track, and manage software development projects in an Agile environment. You will work closely with the developers, QA testers, and cloud engineers to ensure that key documentation is produced, milestones are achieved, and progress is reported back to the CPO. You will manage the Triage processes (where requirements from all internal and external stakeholders are assessed and prioritised) then work closely with the development and operations teams to convert these requirements into detailed functional specifications ready for development.
You will care about developing the next industry-beating feature and, at the same time delivering reliable and performant software projects. You will be part of a team and be happy to collaborate, as well as walking the walk alone and managing your own time.
They’re tight-knit and they show it, unlike a corporate machine trying to replicate 1984 in 2019, they take everyone’s views on board.
Also, they recognize that the commute isn’t quite as good as a lie-in, so they offer some remote or flexible working if you can walk the walk in terms of your Project Management skills.
If you have experience with the following that would be amazing!
- Experience working within an agile project management tool (Jira/Service Desk)
- Experience working with documentation management (Confluence) • Experience in writing and reviewing functional specifications
- Experience in writing test cases and test scripts for QA and UAT
- Software Project management skills (scrum/Kanban)
So, if you’re still here and this sounds scarily similar to what you’re looking for, send over your CV. I’ll answer anything you can throw at me; I might even give you the answer to life the universe and everything.
We welcome diverse applicants and are dedicated to treating all applicants with dignity and respect regardless of background.
